Rand McKinney is the former technical documentation lead for LoopBack, Express, and the Developer Toolkit in IBM API Connect. He has over 25 years of experience with software developer documentation, and has worked for many companies in the Bay Area, including: Borland, Netscape, IBM, Google, Tivo, Linden Lab, StrongLoop, and numerous start-ups.

He has broad experience with open-source, enterprise, and online gaming technologies. He has particular interest in the use of wikis and other online collaboration tools for creating and maintaining documentation and product user assistance.
